On The Horizon Status Update - The Latest Version

Hello, hello, hello! :)
It's been a while since I updated this master list and it's stayed too back in my entries, so I thought it'd be better if I repost it to let us all know where we are currently, because behold! I'm back to it :)) And this time, I'm finishing the story! I'll do my best to finish it as quickly as possible, wrapping up Rick and Amanda's whole saga as the way they deserve. First, we'll be wrapping up the All-Out-War storyline with Negan, and the finale arc of the series will start. I'd mentioned before I will not follow the show's canon even loosely like I'm doing here after we dealt with Negan, but we will go directly AU after we finished with Negan. So buckle up, we're back at it!!

I'm very excited to return to Rick and Amanda again, and I hope you guys are also still reading this and will be returning, as well! I look forward to seeing you again! :)

On The Horizon - Chapter 59 - "Spoils of war"

Here we're closing the Satellite Attack arc.
The chapter's title is a reference to Dune. I've been writing for Dune for a while now, and it fits perfectly for Sanctuary and Negan, and Amanda's feelings, I also used it here, hehe. I've been using a lot TWD themes in my Dune story, so here TWD having its own Dune references as well. This and "you die as an animal" is coming directly from Dune, and again fits the Wolves and the Saviors so badly. Ugh. Really, my hatred for Negan and the Savior just resurfaced after returning to On The Horizon.

On The Horizon - Chapter 58 - "Then you should be as afraid as of me"

HELLOOOOOOOO!!! FINALLY WE'RE AT IT! I'm returning to On The Horizon!! FINALLY, FINALLY! I know it has taken a long time to come back here, but I'm at it now, I'll be finishing the series before I go back and revise On The Edge too, lol! There is still work to do for this series, and it's going to be done, rest assured :) I've taken few months away, focusing on another fandom (Dune) and was having so much fun (and, honestly, attention too, hehe) but this series and Amanda and Rick will always be my babies :)) So I'm back at it!! YAY!

This chapter and the next one are still my warming ups, I'll be gone again for a couple of months on a writing break, writing the second half of the story but I wanted to post online the conclusion of the Satellite Attack arc as it's almost like one and half a year now :)) So I'm going to wrap it up in two chapters, and I'm back at writing again. I think in one or two months I can get ahead of at least 10 or so chapters, setting up the second for what is coming up the next, and then I'll return. I'll try to finish the story until this summer. I'll try my best.

I'll update this chapter and the next one on AO3 too, as to find out who might be still interested in the story, but not knowing here, so these posts will be on public view here and Archieve of Our Own after I also finish Chapter 59 and post it too, hopefully tomorrow.

I'm sooo excited to be back!!! I hope you're still here with me, and will enjoy this once more as much as I enjoy writing Rick and Amanda. I have so much plans for the second half and the All Out War and the end of this series, I CANNOT wait. Last year, I'd spoken of them a lot, we will even touch at the virus itself as we will close the series, and I truly cannot wait to finish Rick and Amanda saga, giving them the conclusion they deserve.

New Story

I know I still need to finish my revision and then finish On The Horizon but an idea for a new story has started to swirl in my mind since the new series started, lol. I still haven't watched the show but I'm getting more hyped for it. Actually, it was also an old idea in which Amanda and Rick meet again in Sanctuary after Grady like in the show because Amanda ends up with the Saviors after Grady fell and she starts to help them to bring down Negan as their insider.

When I saw clips of Rick as a soldier of CRM, I started to revision this idea as Amanda being another soldier of CRM like him as well, somehow ending up with them after Grady's fall and this time she decides to help him to escape to find back his family. Some of you would remember this was also the premises of Mercy of The Living that I started a while ago and then put it down because I couldn't write it then at the same time with my ongoining series. In that story, Amanda was going to help Rick to find his family after he woke up from his coma, I'm updating it now helping him escape from CRM, heh. I've got many new ideas for this, like making them first reluctant allies to help each other, then to somewhat friends, and then to somewhat friends with benefits all the while Rick still looks to get back to his family, hehe, and then Michonne shows up! Hehe. The chaos :)) (I've been having my somewhat enemies to somewhat lovers era with my Turkish couple, hehe. They spoiled me) AND I have been this image of Amanda as a CRM soldier, looking like Emily Blunt's character from Edge of Tomorrow. Rita is soo similar to Amanda, right? I also rewatched the show a couple of weeks ago and it stayed with me since then, tooé

Lol. I've got too many ideas. I still want to start the AU I crafted, too, but this idea also pushes me a lot with the new show :) I started to envision them a lot like this :)

My plan is *still* finish revision and On The Horizon first, I won't start any new story before I finish it but I was wondering if anyone would be interested with this story other than the AU story I have been planning. So tell me. Which one of them would you be more interested to read?

I couldn't edit this chapter the weekend like I had thought so I'm posting it now. Sorry for the lateness. I'll try to update this next chapter though this weekend because I already finished another one, so I can :)

On The Road - Chapter 21 - "This thing between us, it’s real"

Here is the twenty-first chapter!

Stuff and things ensue again, hehe :) This was the chapter that I struggled a lot with a month ago and in the end, I changed the ending three times before I felt satisfied with the results.

I was thinking of publishing this on public for this weekend because of Rick's new series but I haven't decided yet. It'll be on my private list as of the moment, but I might open it to the public view on Sunday.

Edit: I said this chapter might be on the public list because of Rick's return then I forgot it... I'm the worst fan ever, lol. I'm still excited for Rick's return, but I don't feel like watching it yet... I'll still wait until the season's finished. In the meantime, if you're reading this, enjoy. A lot of things have changed if you haven't read the previous revised chapter.

Hello--if you're here to see the updates, I've got something to say. :) This is a public post.

Yesterday feeling things have started to look like how it turned out on AO3 once more for me, I felt like I needed a little 'trial time' before accepting new readers to my access list. Like I told many times before I share my stories for a fee, not for free, which is hearing your comments, and I still refuse to do it without getting paid :)

So I thought what the 'trial time' would be, and five comments seemed to me fair enough. So long story story, I kindly require 5 COMMENTS (of all kinds. I welcome every kind of comment) for the earlier chapters on Archive of Our Own before adding anyone new to my private group for the new updates. In this way, I think we would prevent any misunderstandings between us and stop the incommunication problems. I really don't want to do frequently what I'm about to do right now below.
